Our Tradition
Our families grow to meet the strictest standards, and our methods are passed on to each successive generation. Our heritage methods, principles and results truly culminate into an artisanal meat like no other. We've been farming for centuries, uncompromising in the face of change brought by factory farming. All of our GMO free feeds are grown by us, stored by us and processed at a local mill that still turns through the use of river water on its way to Georgian Bay. By following ecologically sound agricultural practices and sustainable production methods we have set a standard for the preservation of small scale family farming. Our model was awarded the Premieres Innovation Excellence regional award in 2008 as a result. We raise, grow and sell our naturally raised and open-pastured product locally within South Western Ontario. |
